Medical exercise therapy helps to develop physical skills, including coordination, stamina, mobility, and strength. It helps to improve the coordination of nervous system, muscles, and the cardiovascular system and restores the physical fitness.
These exercise methods and training devices are available:
We use treadmill exercises as a form of repetitive locomotion training. It is suitable for non-ambulatory patients and for restoring ambulatory ability after operations.
Treadmills allow for adjusting gait rhythm and speed, stride length, track width, and endurance. Walking on the treadmill is of a highly stimulatory nature appealing to children.
Cable machine exercise
This exercise type is used for targeted muscle building with cable machines. By adjusting the machine and exercise type for differentiated muscle groups and deficits in postural function, separate muscles and muscle chains can be stimulated, resulting in a natural increase in strength and mass.
Unfortunately, this training type is only offered in our health praxis in Frohnau at the moment.
The high-frequency vibrations of the Galileo therapy device allow for a highly effective muscle training.
The Galileo training is a supplemental treatment that is not covered by health insurances. The costs of Galileo treatments have to be covered by the patient.
